Ingredients
						Scale

			- 12 ounces dark chocolate (chips, melting wafers, or candy melts)
 - 12 ounces white chocolate (chips, melting wafers, or candy melts)
 - 1 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)
 - 3 ounces crushed peppermint (candy canes)
 - 1½ teaspoons sea salt flakes

Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt the dark chocolate. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until completely melted and smooth.
 - Once melted, pour the dark chocolate onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread it evenly.
 - In a separate microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt the white chocolate. Add peppermint extract if desired, stirring until smooth.
 - After the dark chocolate has slightly set (about 5 minutes), pour the melted white chocolate on top of the dark chocolate layer.
 - Sprinkle the crushed peppermint and sea salt flakes evenly on top of the white chocolate layer.
 - Allow the bark to set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes or until fully hardened.
 - Once set, break the bark into pieces using a sharp knife or by hand. Serve and enjoy!

Notes
- Ensure the dark chocolate is only partially set before adding the white chocolate to prevent the layers from separating.
 - You can use sea salt in a salt grinder for small flakes or sea salt flakes for a more noticeable effect.
 - If you want a smoother texture, avoid using crushed peppermint candies with large pieces.
 - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
