Description
These Snowball Oreo Cookie Balls are an easy, no-bake dessert made with just three ingredients. Creamy on the inside, coated with sweet sugar on the outside, they’re perfect for holidays, parties, or as a quick and festive treat everyone will love.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened: adds a creamy, tangy texture to bind the cookie mixture
- 36 classic Oreo cookies, finely crushed: provides the chocolate cookie base and flavor
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar: used for rolling and adds a snowy, sweet coating
Instructions
- Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Alternatively, place them in a sealed plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until a dense, uniform dough forms.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into 1-inch balls using your hands.
- Roll each ball in granulated sugar until evenly coated on all sides.
- Place the coated cookie balls on the baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing.
- If the dough is too soft to handle, refrigerate for 10 minutes before shaping.
- Roll the cookie balls in sugar immediately after shaping for better coating adhesion.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
