Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon green gel food coloring
- 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar (for rolling)
- 1/2 cup (90 g) white chocolate chips (optional)
- 2 tablespoons green sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until a thick, sticky dough forms.
- Add green food coloring and mix thoroughly until the dough reaches a vibrant green shade.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and green sprinkles if using.
- Scoop 1 tablespoon portions of dough and roll into balls.
- Roll each dough ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Place dough balls 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 8–11 minutes, until edges are set and centers remain slightly soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Do not overbake to maintain a soft and chewy texture.
- Chill dough for 20–30 minutes if it feels too sticky to handle.
- Use gel food coloring for a more vibrant green without thinning the dough.
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
- Dough balls can be frozen for up to 3 months and baked directly from frozen.
