  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix, cold milk, and sour cream until smooth and thickened. Set aside.
  2. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, arrange half of the angel food cake cubes in an even layer. Spread half of the strawberry pie filling over the cake cubes.
  3. Spoon the prepared vanilla pudding mixture over the strawberry layer, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Add the remaining angel food cake cubes on top of the pudding layer. Spread the remaining strawberry pie filling over the cake cubes.
  5. Gently spread the thawed whipped topping over the entire cake, covering it completely.
  6. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
