- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 32 slices pepperoni, cut into quarters
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce, for dipping
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing, for dipping
- Nonstick spray, for greasing waffle iron
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease with nonstick spray.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into equal-sized squares, approximately 3 x 3 inches.
- Place sliced mozzarella cheese and pepperoni pieces in the center of one dough square.
- Cover with a second dough square and press down firmly around the edges to seal.
- Place the prepared dough pocket into the hot waffle iron. Close the lid gently, pressing firmly but not locking it.
- Cook for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown and the dough is fully cooked through.
- Remove from the waffle iron and repeat with remaining dough and fillings.
- Serve hot with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
