Description

Quick and easy Honey Garlic Salmon Bites made with simple ingredients, perfect for beginner cooks looking for a healthy and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: Chopped green onions or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Rinse the salmon under cold water, pat dry with paper towels, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Season the salmon with salt and pepper lightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to form a smooth glaze.
  4. Optional: Marinate the salmon in the glaze for 15–30 minutes for deeper flavor.
  5. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  6. Add salmon bites in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes to caramelize.
  7. Flip the salmon bites, pour the glaze over them, and cook for another 2–3 minutes, basting with the sauce.
  8. Remove from heat once the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a non-stick or cast-iron skillet to prevent sticking.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if needed.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding a splash of lemon juice if desired.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
