  • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin)
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped chives
  • ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine feta, cream cheese, and olive oil until smooth and well combined.
  2. Add minced garlic and dried basil, then blend again until fully incorporated.
  3. Scoop the cheese mixture onto a small plate or shallow bowl.
  4. Use a large spoon to create a well in the center of the cheese mixture.
  5. Fill the well with honey.
  6. Garnish the sides of the well with chopped pistachios, chives, and a crack of black pepper.
  7. Serve immediately with warm pita bread or crackers.
