Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
- 1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 3/4 cup Grated Zucchini
- 3 tablespoons Chopped Chives
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 12 ounces Beer (preferably IPA)
- 3 tablespoons Butter (melted, plus more for greasing the pan)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9″ x 5″ x 3″ loaf pan with butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated garlic until combined.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese, zucchini, and chives.
- Drizzle honey over the mixture and add the beer, then stir everything together until well combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
- Brush the top with melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 55-70 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before running a knife along the edges to release it. Let it cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- If you prefer a lighter taste, use a lighter beer like a pilsner or lager.
- You can freeze slices of this bread for up to 3 months and reheat them when needed.
- Be sure to grate the zucchini finely to avoid excess moisture in the bread.
