Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts – washed, stems removed, and sliced in half
- 3 Tbsp olive oil – for crisping
- 1 tsp garlic powder – for savory depth
- 1/2 tsp onion powder – for added flavor
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper – to taste
- 1/4 tsp salt – for seasoning
- 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese – for a finishing touch
Instructions
- Wash the Brussels sprouts thoroughly and slice them in half. Pat them dry with a towel.
- In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and grated Parmesan cheese until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 2 minutes.
- Place the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 7 minutes, then shake the basket.
- Cook for an additional 7-10 minutes until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender when poked with a fork. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure the Brussels sprouts cook evenly.
- If you want softer Brussels sprouts, cook them at 325°F for 7-10 minutes, then increase the temperature to 350°F for a final crisping step.
- For extra cheesy flavor, add more Parmesan cheese halfway through the cooking process.
- Every air fryer is different, so be sure to monitor the cooking process to prevent overcooking or burning.
