Description

Air Fryer Salmon Bites with Hot Honey are crispy, tender salmon cubes coated in smoky seasonings and finished with a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze. This quick and easy seafood recipe is perfect for busy weeknight dinners, healthy meal prep, or flavorful appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels and cut it into evenly sized bite-sized cubes.
  3. Place the salmon pieces in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Add smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  6. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until the salmon is crispy on the edges and fully cooked.
  7. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey and hot sauce. Stir until warmed through and smooth.
  8. Transfer the cooked salmon bites to a clean bowl and drizzle the hot honey sauce over the top.
  9. Toss gently until all salmon pieces are evenly coated with the glaze.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Pat the salmon dry before seasoning for crispier results.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to allow proper airflow.
  • Adjust the hot sauce and cayenne pepper to control the spice level.
  • Use fresh salmon for the best flavor and texture.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for 3 to 4 minutes at 350°F to maintain crispiness.
