Description

This quick and healthy avocado toast with honey and pistachios is the perfect beginner-friendly recipe. Creamy, crunchy, and sweet in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices bread of choice
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 2-3 teaspoons honey
  • 1/4 cup raw shelled pistachios
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Toast your bread slices until golden and crisp.
  2. Mash the avocado in a bowl or slice and fan over the toast. Spread evenly on each slice.
  3. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the avocado layer.
  4. Place pistachios in a zip-top bag and gently crush with a wooden spoon or rolling pin. Sprinkle evenly on toast.
  5. Drizzle honey over the top of each slice. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • To make it vegan, substitute honey with maple syrup or agave nectar.
  • Use thick-sliced bread like sourdough or multigrain to prevent sogginess.
  • Crushed almonds or walnuts can replace pistachios if preferred.
  • Store leftover avocado separately with lemon juice to prevent browning.
