Description

This Bisquick Peach Cobbler is a warm, comforting dessert made with juicy fresh peaches and a buttery, golden topping. Using Bisquick baking mix makes this recipe quick and easy while still delivering a classic homemade flavor perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced (about 8 peaches)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for batter)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for batter)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, cornstarch, and nutmeg.
  3. Add sliced peaches to the mixture and stir until evenly coated. Set aside.
  4. Pour melted butter into a baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. In another bowl, combine Bisquick mix, milk, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter over the melted butter without stirring.
  7. Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter, including the juices.
  8. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  10. Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture and flavor.
  • Canned peaches can be used if drained היט well.
  • Do not stir the layers after adding the batter and peaches.
  • Let the cobbler cool slightly to allow the filling to thicken.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
