Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- Wash and dry the blueberries, then combine them with sugar, lemon zest, and flour in a bowl. Mix well.
- Spread the blueberry mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together egg, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
- Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to the wet mixture and whisk until fully combined.
- Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
- Spoon the batter evenly over the blueberries, leaving small gaps for the filling to bubble through.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

- Frozen blueberries can be used without thawing.
