- 8 oz cheddar cheese, diced
- 1 cup fully-cooked ham, diced

- 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely diced
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp sweet or dill relish
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Boil the pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, relish, sugar, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper to create the dressing. Refrigerate.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the ham, cheese, onion, peas, and red bell pepper.
- Pour the chilled dressing over the salad and toss well to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
