Description

Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are a spicy, crispy, and delicious vegetarian alternative to traditional wings. Perfect for game day or healthy snacking!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (or plant-based alternative)
  • 2/3 cup buffalo hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to form a smooth batter.
  3. Add cauliflower florets and toss until evenly coated. Shake off excess batter.
  4. Spread coated cauliflower on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter and buffalo sauce.
  7. Remove cauliflower from the oven and toss in the buffalo sauce mixture.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for another 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until browned and crispy.
  9. Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.

  • For vegan, substitute butter with olive oil or plant-based butter.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 15–20 minutes as an alternative cooking method.
  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet for optimal crispiness.
