Description

These easy Buffalo Chicken Sliders are the perfect beginner-friendly dish—spicy, cheesy, and baked on sweet Hawaiian rolls for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pack Hawaiian sweet rolls (12-count)
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1/3 cup Buffalo wing sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby Jack, or Mexican blend)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken with Ranch dressing, Buffalo sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom half into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom buns, then sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese-covered chicken mixture.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Brush this over the top of the buns.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Let cool slightly, cut along roll lines, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken to save prep time.
  • Reduce or omit hot sauce for a kid-friendly version.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.
  • For extra crisp tops, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
  • Substitute Ranch with blue cheese or Greek yogurt dressing for a twist.
