These easy Buffalo Chicken Sliders are the perfect beginner-friendly dish—spicy, cheesy, and baked on sweet Hawaiian rolls for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pack Hawaiian sweet rolls (12-count)
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
- 1/3 cup Buffalo wing sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby Jack, or Mexican blend)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken with Ranch dressing, Buffalo sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom half into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom buns, then sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese-covered chicken mixture.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Brush this over the top of the buns.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
- Let cool slightly, cut along roll lines, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken to save prep time.
- Reduce or omit hot sauce for a kid-friendly version.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.
- For extra crisp tops, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
- Substitute Ranch with blue cheese or Greek yogurt dressing for a twist.
