Description

Instructions

  1. Place 7 cups of Chex cereal in a large bowl with a secure lid.
  2. Chop 12 fun-size Butterfinger bars into small chunks and set aside.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, and 12 oz milk chocolate chips. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir, then heat in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted mixture over the Chex cereal and gently mix to coat evenly.
  5. Add 1 cup of powdered sugar, cover the bowl, and shake to coat the cereal.
  6. Remove the lid, break apart clumps, add another 1 cup powdered sugar, and shake again.
  7. Add chopped Butterfinger pieces to the bowl, seal, and shake again to combine.
  8. Optionally, add the final 1 cup powdered sugar for a thicker coating and shake once more.
  9. Spread the coated puppy chow on a baking sheet to cool and set before serving.
