Description

Christmas No Bake Oreo Balls are an easy, festive holiday dessert made with crushed Oreo cookies, softened cream cheese, and a smooth chocolate coating. These creamy Oreo truffles require only three main ingredients, no baking, and minimal preparation. Decorate them with Christmas sprinkles, crushed Oreo crumbs, or a chocolate drizzle for a delicious treat perfect for holiday parties, cookie exchanges, homemade gifts, and Christmas dessert trays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 15 ounces Oreo cookies (approximately 36 cookies), finely crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 24 ounces almond bark, vanilla or chocolate, for dipping
  • Christmas sprinkles, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin and a sealed zip-top bag.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the cookie crumbs and mix until thoroughly combined.
  3. Scoop approximately one tablespoon of the mixture at a time and roll into evenly sized balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the Oreo balls for 15โ€“20 minutes or refrigerate for about one hour until firm.
  5. Melt the almond bark according to the package instructions, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted coating. Use two forks to lift it out and allow excess coating to drip off.
  7. Immediately decorate with Christmas sprinkles, reserved Oreo crumbs, or a drizzle of contrasting chocolate.
  8. Place the coated truffles on the parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes, until the coating sets completely.
  9. Serve chilled or arrange in mini cupcake liners for a festive holiday dessert platter.

Notes

  • Use softened cream cheese for a smooth, evenly mixed filling.
  • Crush the cookies finely to help the mixture hold together.
  • Chill the Oreo balls before dipping to prevent them from falling apart.
  • Add sprinkles immediately after dipping, before the chocolate coating hardens.
  • Almond bark can be replaced with candy melting wafers or suitable chocolate coating.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • Freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to three months, separating layers with parchment paper.
  • Thaw frozen truffles in the refrigerator before serving.
  • The quantity of coating used may vary, and nutrition estimates depend on the ingredients and coating that adheres to each truffle.
