Description

Christmas Tree Mini Pizzas are festive, fun, and easy-to-make, making them a perfect treat for the holiday season. Shaped like Christmas trees and topped with mozzarella cheese, mini pepperoni, and pizza sauce, these mini pizzas bring both cheer and flavor to your celebrations.

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough – 1 package (store-bought or homemade)
  • Pizza sauce – 1/2 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded – 1 cup
  • Mini pepperoni – 1/2 cup
  • Green bell pepper, finely diced (optional, for decoration) – 1/4 cup
  • Flour, for dusting – 1/4 cup
  • Olive oil, for brushing – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
  3. Use a tree-shaped cookie cutter to cut out mini tree shapes from the dough. Gather any scraps and re-roll them to maximize the number of tree shapes.
  4. Place the tree-shaped dough pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush each shape with olive oil, then spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over each tree, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Add mini pepperoni slices on top to resemble ornaments and optional diced green bell pepper for extra decoration.
  6. Bake the mini pizzas in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the edges of the dough are golden brown.
  7. Allow the mini pizzas to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use gluten-free pizza dough if needed for a gluten-free version of this recipe.
  • Feel free to experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or provolone for a unique flavor.
  • If you don’t have a tree-shaped cookie cutter, you can use any other festive shape or cut the trees by hand.
  • These mini pizzas can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Leftover mini pizzas can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
