Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Place the chicken in the crock pot in a single layer.
  3. Add minced garlic and chopped sun-dried tomatoes evenly over the chicken.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth around the chicken.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender.
  7. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream and parmesan cheese.
  8. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens slightly and becomes creamy.
  9. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.
