Description

This Easter Carrot Cheese Ball is a festive no-bake appetizer made with cream cheese, sharp cheddar, ranch seasoning, green onions, and garlic powder, then shaped like a carrot and finished with fresh parsley for a fun holiday presentation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley sprigs, for garnish
  • 1 box crackers, for serving
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks or fresh vegetable sticks, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl and mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is fully combined.
  3. Transfer the cheese mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap and shape it into a large carrot, making one end wider and the other end tapered.
  4. Wrap the shaped cheese ball tightly in the plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour, or until firm enough to hold its shape.
  5. Remove the chilled cheese ball from the refrigerator and unwrap it carefully. Smooth the surface gently with clean hands or a spatula if needed.
  6. Arrange the fresh parsley sprigs at the wide end of the carrot shape to create the carrot top.
  7. Place the Easter Carrot Cheese Ball on a serving platter and surround it with crackers, pretzel sticks, or fresh vegetable sticks.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy.

Notes

  • Chill the cheese mixture well before serving so the carrot shape holds neatly.
  • For a sharper flavor, use extra-sharp cheddar cheese.
  • You can prepare the cheese ball up to 24 hours in advance and add the parsley garnish just before serving.
  • Store leftovers tightly wrapped in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
