Description

These Frosted Christmas Brownies are an easy, festive treat perfect for holiday parties or cozy Christmas movie nights. With rich, fudgy brownies topped with vibrant red and green frosting, they are both delicious and visually stunning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box Brownie Mix (for extra thick brownies, use 2 boxes)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup White Frosting
  • Red Food Coloring
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Edible Gold Stars
  • Pearl Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the brownie mix package instructions. Grease a 9-inch springform pan with spray oil.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix by following the instructions on the box. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the brownies according to the package directions, usually about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Once the brownies are done, allow them to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove them from the springform pan and let them cool completely on a cutting board.
  5. After the brownies are cool, cut them into 8 triangular slices.
  6. In separate bowls, mix the white frosting with red food coloring and green food coloring to create the festive colors.
  7. Transfer the colored frostings to piping bags with your preferred tips.
  8. Decorate the brownies: pipe the green frosting in the shape of Christmas trees, then sprinkle with pearl sprinkles and edible gold stars. Use the red and white frosting to create Santa hat designs on other brownies.
  9. Serve and enjoy your festive, frosted brownies!

Notes

  • If you prefer a thinner frosting, adjust the amount of frosting used.
  • For a thicker, more decadent layer of frosting, add extra frosting to your brownies.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
  • Feel free to experiment with different edible decorations, such as colorful sprinkles or sugar crystals, to enhance the look of the brownies.
