Description

Garlic Butter Beef Pasta is a rich and creamy one-pot pasta recipe made with tender pasta, seasoned ground beef, butter, garlic, parmesan cheese, and a savory cream sauce. This easy comfort food dinner is perfect for busy weeknights and delivers bold garlic flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces linguine or fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, breaking it apart until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to coat the beef evenly.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring until combined.
  6. Add the pasta to the skillet and press it gently into the liquid.
  7. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is tender.
  8. If the liquid reduces too quickly, add a splash of additional broth or water as needed.
  9. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  10. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan cheese for the smoothest sauce texture.
  • Do not boil the cream sauce aggressively to prevent separation.
  • Fettuccine, linguine, penne, or spaghetti all work well in this recipe.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat with a splash of milk or broth to restore creaminess.
