Description

Grinch Punch is an easy, festive, family-friendly Christmas drink made with lime sherbet, Sprite, Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch, and pineapple juice. This bright green holiday punch takes just 2 minutes to prepare and can be finished with a sparkling red sugar rim.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 gallon lime sherbet
  • 1 (2-liter) bottle Sprite
  • 1 gallon Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch
  • 1 (46-ounce) can pineapple juice
  • Red sugar sprinkles, optional

Instructions

  1. Scoop the lime sherbet into a large punch bowl or pitcher.
  2. Pour half of the Sprite over the lime sherbet.
  3. Add half of the pineapple juice and half of the Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch.
  4. Gently stir the ingredients together, taking care not to remove too much carbonation.
  5. For the optional garnish, lightly dip the rim of each serving glass in water, then dip it into red sugar sprinkles.
  6. Pour or ladle the Grinch Punch into the prepared glasses and serve immediately while cold and fizzy.

Notes

  • Chill the Sprite, pineapple juice, and Hawaiian Punch before preparing the recipe for the coldest punch.
  • Add the Sprite shortly before serving so the punch stays fizzy.
  • Keep the lime sherbet frozen until you are ready to assemble the punch.
  • Avoid adding regular ice directly to the punch bowl because it can dilute the flavor as it melts.
  • Sprite can be replaced with another lemon-lime soda.
  • The red sugar rim is optional but adds a festive Christmas presentation.
  • The recipe is best served immediately because the sherbet will gradually melt and the soda will lose carbonation.
