Description
Halloween Eyeball Jello Shots are spooky, fruity, and fun party treats made with strawberry jello, red berry vodka, and topped with creepy candy eyeballs. Perfect for Halloween gatherings, they’re easy to make and a hit with guests.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (3 oz) strawberry jello: Provides the bright red color and fruity base.
- 1 1/4 cups boiling water: Used to dissolve the jello powder completely.
- 3/4 cup red berry vodka: Adds a berry-flavored alcoholic kick.
- 9 candy eyeballs or gummy eyeballs: Creates the spooky Halloween effect.
Instructions
- In a large measuring cup, combine the strawberry jello with 1 1/4 cups of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Stir in 3/4 cup of red berry vodka and mix well.
- Pour the mixture evenly into 9 shot glasses, leaving a small space at the top to avoid spills.
- Place the filled shot glasses on a baking sheet and transfer them to the refrigerator.
- Chill for at least 2 hours, or until the jello is fully set.
- Just before serving, top each shot with a candy eyeball for a spooky touch.
Notes
- Do not add the candy eyeballs until just before serving to prevent them from melting or bleeding color.
- Use a baking sheet to easily transport the filled shot glasses into the fridge.
- Do not increase the alcohol beyond the recommended amount, or the jello may not set properly.
- You can use different jello flavors or food coloring to customize the appearance.
