Description

This easy Halloween Fudge is a colorful, creamy vanilla-flavored treat made with white frosting, black, orange, and neon green candy melts, and festive Halloween sprinkles. Prepared in about 20 minutes before chilling, this no-bake-style Halloween dessert is perfect for parties, treat bags, family celebrations, and autumn festivities. Cut into squares and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 container (16 ounces) white frosting or buttercream
  • 3/4 cup black candy melts
  • 3/4 cup orange candy melts
  • 3/4 cup neon green candy melts
  • 1/3 cup Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang to make removing the fudge easier.
  2. Place the black, orange, and neon green candy melts in three separate microwave-safe bowls.
  3. Microwave each bowl of candy melts for approximately 2 minutes, stopping every 30 seconds to stir until the candy is smooth and melted. Avoid overheating.
  4. Remove the lid and foil seal from the frosting container. Microwave the frosting on high for 45 seconds, or until softened.
  5. Immediately divide the warm frosting evenly among the three bowls of melted candy, adding approximately one-third to each bowl.
  6. Stir each bowl vigorously until the frosting is thoroughly incorporated and each mixture is smooth and evenly colored.
  7. Alternately pour the three colored mixtures into the prepared baking pan to create a festive Halloween pattern.
  8. Tap the pan gently on the counter to level the mixture, then sprinkle the Halloween decorations evenly over the top.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is completely firm.
  10. Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper, cut it into squares, and serve.

Notes

  • Use your favorite Halloween sprinkles or seasonal candy decorations.
  • Add a small amount of flavored extract to each colored mixture for a different flavor.
  • Mix the frosting thoroughly into each bowl of melted candy to prevent hard or uneven patches in the finished fudge.
  • Do not use ordinary water-based food coloring in melted candy, as it can cause the mixture to seize. Use candy melts in your preferred colors or a suitable oil-based coloring.
  • Add purple candy melts for another festive Halloween color combination.
  • Microwave power varies, so heat the candy melts in short intervals and stir frequently.
  • Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
  • Allow the fudge to set completely before slicing or packaging it in individual treat bags.
  • Nutrition information is approximate and may vary depending on the brands of frosting, candy melts, and sprinkles used.
