- 1/2 cup Hershey’s Special Dark cocoa powder

- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 1/4 cup granulated white sugar (for cream cheese layer)
- 1 large egg (for cream cheese layer)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cream cheese layer)
- Orange food coloring (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk 2 eggs, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, and 1 tsp vanilla extract until well blended.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures and stir until just combined. Reserve 1/4 cup of batter for swirling, and pour the rest into the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, mix 8 oz cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract until smooth. Add orange food coloring and stir until evenly colored.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter in the pan.
- Drop spoonfuls of the reserved brownie batter on top and swirl with a knife or skewer to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.

- Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- To freeze, wrap individual squares in plastic wrap and store in a freezer bag for up to 3 months.
- Use a skewer instead of a spoon for more defined swirls.
