Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16 oz / 454 g) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 4 oz (113 g) mozzarella cheese, cut into 8 equal pieces
  • 4 tablespoons (56 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon (3 g) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (1 g) Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g) salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces and flatten each into a 3-inch circle.
  3. Place one piece of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough circle.
  4. Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.
  5. Place each ball seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  7. Brush the tops of each dough ball generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven, cool slightly, and serve warm for best gooey texture.

  • Do not overfill with cheese to maintain structure.
  • Brush extra garlic butter after baking for enhanced flavor.
  • Serve immediately for best texture and taste.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
