Description

Honey Garlic Shrimp Sausage and Broccoli is a quick and flavorful one-pan stir-fry featuring juicy shrimp, smoky sausage, and crisp broccoli coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights, this dish delivers a balanced combination of protein, vegetables, and bold flavor in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, minced garlic, and crushed red pepper.
  2. Divide the sauce and reserve one-third for marinating the shrimp.
  3. Add shrimp to the reserved marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Whisk cornstarch into the remaining sauce until smooth.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook broccoli for 5 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and sliced sausage, cooking for 2โ€“3 minutes per side until shrimp is pink.
  7. Pour in the cornstarch sauce and simmer for 2โ€“3 minutes until thickened.
  8. Return broccoli to the skillet and toss everything together until evenly coated.
  9. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or as is.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp as it can become rubbery.
  • Cut broccoli into even pieces for uniform cooking.
  • Use fresh garlic for stronger flavor.
  • Adjust honey or red pepper flakes to control sweetness and spice.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
