Instructions

- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in the lemon zest, lemon juice, and 8 ounces whipped topping until fully combined.
- Spread the cream cheese layer evenly over the cooled crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together the lemon pudding mix and cold milk until thick and smooth.
- Spread the pudding layer over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for 15 minutes until set.
- Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer.
- Garnish with lemon zest and lemon slices if desired.
- Refrigerate the dessert for at least 1 hour before slicing and serving.
