Description
Patriotic Chocolate Covered Strawberries are a festive no-bake dessert made with fresh strawberries dipped in creamy white and blue chocolate coating, then decorated with red, white, and blue sprinkles. These easy summer treats are perfect for Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and patriotic party celebrations.

- 1 pint fresh strawberries, washed and completely dried
- 12 oz white candy melts
- 12 oz blue candy melts
- 1/2 cup patriotic sprinkles
- 2 tbsp red, white, and blue nonpareils
- 2 tbsp blue sugar crystals
- 1 tbsp edible glitter (optional)
- 1 sheet parchment paper
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries thoroughly and dry them completely with paper towels. Allow them to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper and set aside.
- Place the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth and melted.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it halfway into the melted white chocolate. Let excess coating drip off before placing the strawberries on the prepared tray.
- Allow the white coating to set for 5 to 10 minutes.
- In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the blue candy melts using the same microwave method until smooth.
- Dip the lower quarter of each white-coated strawberry into the blue candy coating.
- Immediately decorate the dipped strawberries with patriotic sprinkles, nonpareils, blue sugar crystals, or edible glitter before the coating hardens.
- Place the decorated strawberries back onto the parchment-lined tray and allow them to fully set at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy.
Notes
- Make sure the strawberries are fully dry before dipping to help the chocolate adhere properly.
- Do not overheat the candy melts or they may become thick and grainy.
- If the candy coating thickens while working, microwave it for 10 to 15 seconds to loosen it.
- These strawberries are best enjoyed within 24 hours for maximum freshness.
