Description

These easy Pinwheel Sandwiches are made with soft flour tortillas, creamy ranch-seasoned cream cheese, cheddar cheese, fresh vegetables, and deli turkey or ham. Perfect for parties, lunchboxes, picnics, and make-ahead appetizers, these colorful tortilla roll-ups are quick to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped spinach or lettuce
  • 8 slices deli turkey or ham
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the ranch seasoning mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface and spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tortillas.
  4. Add the chopped bell peppers, carrots, spinach or lettuce, black olives, and green onions evenly across each tortilla.
  5. Place 2 slices of deli turkey or ham over the vegetables on each tortilla.
  6. Starting from one side, tightly roll each tortilla into a log shape.
  7. Wrap each tortilla roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Remove from the refrigerator and use a sharp knife to slice each roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  9. Arrange on a serving platter and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Chilling the tortilla rolls before slicing helps the pinwheels hold their shape.
  • Use softened cream cheese for easier spreading.
  • Finely chop vegetables to create cleaner slices.
  • Whole wheat tortillas can be substituted for added fiber.
  • These pinwheel sandwiches can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
