Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in crushed freeze-dried strawberries and white chocolate chips if using.
- Scoop dough into balls and place on prepared baking sheets, spacing evenly.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers are soft.
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
