Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup cold butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 dash salt
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon softened butter
- 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the cold butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and flour using a pastry cutter or fork until crumbly.
- Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 triangles and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar crumb mixture over the crescent dough triangles.
- Bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the topping is crisp.
- While baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, softened butter, vanilla extract, and milk in a small bowl until smooth.
- Remove the baked pizza from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
- Cut into smaller triangles if desired and drizzle the glaze over the top before serving warm.
Notes
- Use cold butter to create a crunchy crumb topping.
- Do not overbake or the crescent dough may become too dry.
- Add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra crunch.
- Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
