Description

Sweet Potato Crust Pizza offers a healthier, gluten-free twist on the classic pizza. The naturally sweet and savory crust pairs wonderfully with a variety of toppings, making this recipe both delicious and nutritious for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium Sweet Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes. Boil or steam them until soft, then drain and let cool.
  2. Mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, garlic powder, oregano, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the mashed sweet potatoes, then crack in the eggs and pour in the olive oil. Mix until a dough-like consistency forms.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the dough into a thin, round shape.
  6. Bake the crust for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the crust from the oven, add your desired toppings, and return the pizza to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Slice, serve, and enjoy your healthy Sweet Potato Crust Pizza!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, brush the crust with olive oil before baking.
  • Use any toppings you like, such as vegetables, chicken, or cheese.
  • The crust can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for later use.
