Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar and 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves.
- Cook until the liquid is reduced by about half and slightly thickened, then remove from heat and set aside.
- Lightly oil the grill rack with 1 teaspoon vegetable oil and preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Place the peach, nectarine, and plum halves on the grill.
- Grill the fruit, covered, for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until tender with light grill marks.
- Remove the fruit from the grill and allow it to cool slightly.
- Slice the grilled fruit into wedges and arrange on a serving platter.
- Drizzle the balsamic syrup evenly over the fruit.
- Serve immediately while warm or at room temperature.
