Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Wash, dry, and chop strawberries into small pieces and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large bowl, then whisk in brown sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the egg until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and malted milk powder.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until a thick batter forms.
- Fold in chopped strawberries and white chocolate chips evenly.
- Spread batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until edges are set and the top is golden.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars and serving.
Notes
- Do not overbake; the center should remain slightly soft for a chewy texture.
- Pat strawberries dry to avoid excess moisture in the batter.
- Use a metal baking pan for even baking results.
- Blondies will firm up as they cool after baking.
